CHARLESTON RESTAURANT WEEK
Charleston Restaurant Week on Kiawah Begins! From September 3rd to the 14th. Kiawah Island is participating in Charleston Restaurant Week for the second time along with over 140 other restaurants from September 3rd to the 14th. This is an opportunity for foodies and diners to enjoy the world-renowned culinary delights of the Lowcountry as these restaurants offer prix fixe lunch and dinner menus. WICKETS AND WINE
Saturday, September 6, 13, and 27. Kiawah Island’s recreation staff will introduce you to the various types of recreational croquet from 1pm to 2:30pm. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a seasoned veteran dressed in white or a beginner wearing flip flops! Drinks will be available for purchase at the Night Heron Bar and Grill for those of age. Reservations are required. $22/person. Please note this event will be held every Saturday EXCEPT September 20, 2014. For more information call (843) 768-6001.
KIAWAH’S BEVERAGE SERIES FEATURING: TOMASSO AT TURTLE POINT
Thursday, September 18. 6pm – Reception. 6:30pm – Dinner (4-courses for $75). Come experience Chef Jonathan Williams’ Italian inspired Terrace Wine Dinner at Turtle Point. More details to come; in the meantime, please call (843) 768-6067 for more information!
FRIDAY ART WALK AT FRESHFIELDS
Friday, September 19. Residents and visitors are invited to view works from local and visiting artists in participating stores at Freshfields Village on Friday, September 19 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. END OF SUMMER SIDEWALK SALE AT FRESHFIELDS
Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21. Freshfields Village is having a village wide Sidewalk Sale featuring great specials on summer merchandise. The sale will run from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and 1:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday. Plus, get a peek of the latest fall styles that have just hit the stores.
