Ready for the Turkey Trot? Kiawah Island is hosting their annual fun run/walk on the beach on Thanksgiving morning! Get your workout before the turkey eating and football watching. The race offers a one-mile walk or a one to three mile run on the beach for families, beginners or competitive runners.

Registration begins at 8am on the beach at the Sanctuary Beach Access (just west of the Sanctuary Hotel). The race begins promptly at 8:30am.

All participants receive a raffle ticket for a prize drawing that will be held at 9:15am at the race start/finish line! Registration is complimentary.

Fun fact: The Sanctuary’s ice cream shop, Beaches & Cream, will have snacks before and after the race.
