It’s Raining! What To Do This Easter Weekend on Kiawah

Thunderstorms are forecasted this Easter weekend on Kiawah, but that doesn’t mean the fun must stop!

INDOOR EASTER EGG HUNT

Indoor Easter hunt in your vacation home? Oh yes, this will be the best mix of fun and challenge. If you’re a guest this year and have rented a vacation home on the island, no one will know those secret hiding places at home that never stay secret for long.

Second idea: Dye Easter Eggs! It’s just a quick run up to Harris Teeter at Freshfields Village to grab a dozen or two of eggs and dye. They are open from 6:30am until midnight, including on Easter Sunday.

DINE

For those of you who have been in the car all day on your way to the island, does a relaxing dinner with the family sound up your alley? Choose from the exquisite restaurants located on Kiawah or head up the parkway to Freshfields Village and Bohicket Marina.

All restaurants on Easter Sunday will have indoor seating, so theres on need to even worry about the rain! There are even special Easter Sunday dining events taking place on the island. We highly recommend calling for more information and reservations.
