VISITING KIAWAH: WHAT TO KNOW

We’ve gathered some information that should be able to help you briefly familiarize yourself with the island and get a general sense of what to expect in terms of travel resources, weather and activities.

WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS ON KIAWAH ISLAND

Most accommodations on the island offer complimentary wireless internet access and if you feel like getting out with your laptop or devices we’ve created a list of places that also offer wireless internet access.

Pool access on the island depends upon your accommodation and membership.

Kiawah Island Golf Resort Guests

If you have rented directly through Kiawah Island Golf Resort, you will have access to all of their pools including:

  • Night Heron Family and Children’s Pool
  • West Beach Pool
  • Tennis Club Adult Pool

These pools are reserved exclusively for Kiawah Island Golf Resort Guests, Governor’s Club Members and escorted Governor’s Club Guests.

The Sanctuary Hotel Guests

You will have access to all Kiawah Island Golf Resort Pools along with three pools exclusively reserved for guests of The Sanctuary:

  • Family Outdoor Pool
  • Adults Only Outdoor Pool
  • Indoor Pool

Independent Rental Agency Guest OR Renting Through an Owner (VRBO)

All of the pools listed above are exclusive to guests of either Kiawah Island Golf Resort or The Sanctuary Hotel.

It will depend upon your specific accommodation and where it’s located if you rent from an independent rental agency or directly from an owner. There are many homes with private pools and also a few shared neighborhood pools in some sections. Ask your agency or the owner for more information and what pool access is included or not included with their properties.

RAINY DAY ACTIVITIES WHILE STAYING ON KIAWAH
